What do we want to achieve?
We have three demands.

1. TELL THE TRUTH
Government must tell the truth by declaring a climate and ecological emergency, working with other institutions to communicate the urgency for change.
2. ACT NOW
Government must act now to halt biodiversity loss and reduce greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2025.
3. DECIDE TOGETHER
GovernmentIf mustwe createare to have any hope of coping with the emergency, we have to move beyond the politics that have so far held us back, and into listening, dialogue and towards unity and action.
Extinction Rebellion does not want to seize power, we want power to be led byin the decisionshands of the people. We need to decide together. That’s why our third demand is for a Citizens’ Assembly on climateClimate and ecologicalEcological justice.Justice.
