Risk Management - the how

ItsThe basicallystart is a workshop (this can be facilitated by the Risk circle) to :

  • Identify your risks as events, causes and impacts,
  • Assess each risk's probability and level of impact,
  • Identify actions to reduce the probability and/or impact of each risk.
  • Create a "Plan B" should it occur.
  • Continue to take risks that have been properly assessed.
  • Capture in writing what you've learnt - this can be in a risk register or something else.

After the workshop its a very good idea to regularly (suggest once/month) review your circle's risks to identify new risks that will have arisen since the workshop, and to change your Plan B's if you need to (perhaps because of a change in the circle).
